Therapy is a process whereby therapist and client engage in attempts to resolve client conflicts. The resolution of such conflicts is unique to each individual and family and accomplished on a variety of timelines. I have the skills and experience to build trust with clients and assist children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in the process of conflict resolution. I do not consciously discriminate against people. I acknowledge that like all therapists, I bring my own biases into therapy sessions. My awareness of this helps me to remain as objective as possible in the therapy sessions. I believe that the therapist and client relate as human beings or they don't, regardless of differences in age, ethnicity, gender, religion, or sexuality. I believe it is important that the therapist be aware of the effectiveness of the therapy for the client so as not to waste the client's time, but it is equally important for the client to be honest with the therapist concerning the helpfulness of therapy.
